Today, I’m going to talk to you about Dream Clients or your Dream Team.
Do you know who your Dream Clients are?
Do you know what your Dream Team looks like?
If the answer is no, then I want you to take away from this just a little bit of thought process and thinking about who you would ideally love to work with.
This is both on a client base or a customer base, depending on what type of business that you have and a team base.
Even if you’re to bring a Virtual Assistant into your business, what does that Virtual Assistant look like to you. Really thinking about how you’re going to put your Dream Team together and in that Dream Team is definitely your clients or customers.
What do they look like?
Why would you want that?
Why do you want your Dream Team?
I think most of you probably already know the answer to this, but thinking about what really riles you up to actually be working with your Dream Team. What makes you excited?
If somebody was to turn around tomorrow and give you your dream client, what does that look like?
Is it someone that’s just super easy to work with?
Super chilled?
Maybe you’re someone that thrives off, for want of a better word, Chaos. But maybe not so much. It’s just the way you do things, and you thrive on that go, go, go, go.
Or you’re someone that thrives on organisation and structure and all of that.
Is it somebody that kind of pairs up with you, or is it somebody that is totally opposite to you, where you could compliment them? Maybe they’re not that person, but you are that person for them. So really thinking about what that means to you.
I would have you sit down and do two columns and go Dream Team and Dream Clients.
What does that look like?
So, with your Dream Team, what skills do you want them to have?
What do they need to be like personally?
If they’re going to be grumpy and grouchy and very, very, structured and straight down the line and all that sort of thing and you’re just not that person at all. You’re bright and bubbly, and you just fly by the seat of your pants. Then possibly you might frustrate each other. Thinking about those sorts of things.
What does that person look like?
Is it somebody who is very detailed, is very organised, is very structured because you need that in that person for you to be able to function on a day-to-day basis.
Really, really think about this. This is going to help you build the basis of your questions to ask a VA or a team member that you’re putting on or even a client.
You can then know how you can work with that client and how you can bring your best for that client as well. But when it comes to clients, what does your dream client look like?
You know, a bit like going through your ideal avatar. We’re going to level that up a little bit where it’s going to be your Dream Client.
It’s one thing to attract your avatar. This is the person that you are wanting to work with.

Your Dream Client is like a level up of that avatar.
Who do you absolutely love working with? Getting down to that fine detail, somebody that you might even chat on the phone for a bit too long with because you just love working with them.
I guarantee you, if you do this exercise, you will start attracting those people because you are putting it out there and you’re going, “These are the people I’d like to work with”, and also, then you know who to say no to as well.
