You don’t have to do this alone

As a parent of a child with ADHD, you may often feel that you are on your own and constantly doing it by yourself.

Your child has had yet another outburst or meltdown or they haven’t been invited to yet another school party and you may feel that nobody understands.

Well, don’t worry there are some of us out there that do understand and can most certainly help!

When I started my journey of self-development and trying to deal with life with an ADHD child, I myself felt very alone and that nobody really understood what we were going through.

This is where I felt the need to branch out to others and help them instead as I knew I wouldn’t have been the only person that felt this way.

This has led me to a path of coaching.

So, what is coaching and how can it help?

Coaching is a professional partnership between a qualified coach and an individual. I see it as forming a support team. We support the achievement of extraordinary results, based on goals that you wish to set or to set for your children.

We focus on the skills and actions needed to successfully produce your relevant results.

You choose the focus of conversation while we listen and contribute my observations and questions that can assist in generating possibilities and identifying actions.

Coaching accelerates your progress by providing a greater focus and awareness or possibilities leading to more effective choices. Coaching focuses on where you are now, what you are willing to do to get where you want to be in the future.

Coaching can be done on a one on one basis or a group session.

Coaching can assist you in ways to help your children or just how you manage your children.

The benefits of coaching are limitless and those who engage in coaching can expect to experience a fresh perspective on personal challenges and opportunities, enhanced thinking and decision making skills and increased confidence when dealing with any part of your life.

Some reasons that you may like to work with a coach:

  • Feeling disorganised in your life
  • Feeling like you are ‘out of control’ with how you manage your children
  • You may need assistance with making a decision that is right for you and need to work through it
  • You desire your work and life to be simpler, less complicated
  • You would like to accelerate your results
  • Work and life are out of balance

There are many more, these are just a small example of what you can work on, the options are unlimited, you can talk about anything.

All you need to do is take the first step and create that team support.

Here is a quick video that will give you a quick overview of why you may need coaching:
